I mean this would just about do me.I don't post much and usually keep these things to myself but frustration levels are at an all time high.
I'm very close to someone who is very close to George & and the Wardlaw family. He's told his family that he wants to play elsewhere. Has no animosity towards the club but his competitive nature doesn't match where the club has been/is. He doesn't feel like he owes the club anything and isn't really aligned in the same way as others seem to be who are extending.
His aim this year is to play well to attract as much interest as possible.

Yeah his disposal is poor but so is the disposal of most of his teammates, and unlike most of his teammates, at least he attacks the footy with aggression and runs as hard defensively as he does offensively. And as good as his attack on the footy is, boy does his disposal lack polish.

How can you say that with a straight face knowing we are where we are? Look at our ****ing team, bro. It's broken. Players who want to win aren't going to wait thousands of years for it to turn
It's more broken now, because we have more players who can theoretically play football than we did when JHF leftWe were just as broken when JHF left. We just haven’t gotten better
First senior game back, was rusty. His disposal was never elite in the first place but benefit of the doubt goes to him for this. Few levels removed from Colby's bluesAnd as good as his attack on the footy is, boy does his disposal lack polish.
Yeah I really don’t see how you can watch a teammate trying that hard and think nah **** it too hard for meNot one player matched his intensity. Which is ****ing bizzare.
Will make multiple goes at it before giving up.
Yet Stephens, Jy, Powell, Caleb, Larkey, Zuurhar, Sheezel all look like they’re moving in slow motion.
Looking forward to all the knee jerk reactions from people that believe a bloke who genuinely just said: “I’m very close to someone who is very close to George”I don't post much and usually keep these things to myself but frustration levels are at an all time high.

Don't see what's outlandish about it.Looking forward to all the knee jerk reactions from people that believe a bloke who genuinely just said: “I’m very close to someone who is very close to George”
Has also barely posted in over a year so something tells me we can file this one firmly in the ‘nothing to see here’ basket
Chill.
So you have been here five minutes and yet have the skills to examine a post and criticise the poster for exactly the thing that he admits. It is madness to rely on one mid to be the defender of the midfield. For how long? Doesn't strike me as someone to enjoy playing alongside LDU and Powell.

Parker tries. LDU is not exactly great. Powell is pretty crap despite his tackle numbers. Sheezel is really average on the spread. McKercher is allergic to contact. Simpkin seems to pick and choose when to apply pressure.
Xerri - Wardlaw - Phillips - LDU
Xerri - Simpkin - Phillips - LDU
Xerri - Wardlaw - Simpkin - LDU

We have to start playing a midfield that is defensively accountable.
Posting a rumour on bigfooty and then claiming to be the good guy for using discretion is amusing.Honestly mate, believe whatever you want to believe. Doesn't bother me either way. A bit of discretion as to not completely throw people close to him under the bus.
Just saying what I've heard and believe so expectations can be altered
Mate, we pretty much exclusively looked like a football team when he was part of the play. More than any player on our team, the fantasy of a North Premiership - shit, finals even - will boil down to his staying fit.Guys is the talisman of all talismans.
Is built for finals if we ever give him the opportunity.
His first 5 minutes in 2 months was utterly ridiculous.

That is the point I was trying to make. LDU’s offensive contested work outweighs the times he is not accountable defensively. I should have included Parker in those rotations. I do, however, think our midfield structure is pus with Phillips in there.I agree with the premise but don't think Phillips has been defensively accountable enough this year.
My primary rotation would be Wardlaw, Parker, Simpkin. You can't even have one who's unaccountable these days.
