Cliffs?Silvagni talking about Papley at about 9 minutes:
Stephen Silvagni on SEN Breakfast (21/10/20)
Stephen Silvagni joins Garry and Tim for an expolsive interview on his time at Carlton, what he'd do with their list and a whole range of other issues.player.whooshkaa.com
A lot of what he's saying honestly sounds like he's talking about Joe lol. He might not be, but it's very transferable.
no, but it would have been as soon as we traded himSO PICK 9 WAS NEVER ON THE TABLE FOR DANIHER
Something along the lines of how hard it is to get a contracted player out of a club at short notice and how they need time to find other options etc. etc.Cliffs?
I ended up listening from start to finish because it was fascinating. SOS was really open.Something along the lines of how hard it is to get a contracted player out of a club at short notice and how they need time to find other options etc. etc.
Yeah haha. Carlton folks don't like it so muchI ended up listening from start to finish because it was fascinating. SOS was really open.

Confirmed never, he didn't even nominate the blues.SO PICK 9 WAS NEVER ON THE TABLE FOR DANIHER
Sack Dodoro.Confirmed never, he didn't even nominate the blues.
SOS said that they made a very attractive offer to Sydney and Papley was not traded... seemingly because he still had 2-3 years left on his contract.Thought they said last year that Papley would’ve been at Blues if Daniher deal was done? If so then surely pick 9 would’ve been part of that deal
I am shocked ....oh wait a minute. I actually am notSO PICK 9 WAS NEVER ON THE TABLE FOR DANIHER
Isn't half the appeal of getting Daniher is that they could get him with out having to give up draft picks and only salary? If I was Brisbane, I'd tell the club to fu** off, either match or don't, but we ain't trading, and we'll take him in the PSD, if he decides to walk. Brisbane don't owe us any favours.

Not sure as it still doesn’t make sense. Yesterday’s news I guessSo how far of the mark was I ?
A win/ win if possible is always going to be a better option for the sake of future negotiations. It is good business.Isn't half the appeal of getting Daniher is that they could get him with out having to give up draft picks and only salary? It is but we are talking football clubs.A win/ win if possible is always going to be a better option for the sake of future negotiations. It is good business.
Same rules apply I think. That said, a professional big-picture approach is probably a bit too much to ask for.It is but we are talking football clubs.
