Yeah kinda must admit I was a little bored today - and a little bit of off season banter doesn’t hurt...I hope Daniher comes out and kicks 20 in his first 5 games in 2019 and my comments here get moved across to delusional pearlers

Anyone know if he actually trained today?

There's a photo there of "Joe Daniher receives some encouragement". He looks like he's in the middle of a fast walk. Considering the lack of updates on injury progression from the club, I'm going to assume they are gearing him up to do speed walking to prevent flare ups of his OP and he'll be speed walking away from opponents to take the ball at the highest point next season.

In all seriousness, not much being said. Zerrett said he's upping his workload and that they both did some education around performance and culture in the off season, but i can't find much else. He was doing training today but i don't know how much he did at what capacity

The silence around it is a worry. If he was fully fit it would be one of the easier fluff pieces to write in a quiet off season. I just hate OP, injuries that don’t have an expected recovery are always an issue and source of frustration for everyone. To say we are mis-managing Joe is something I hadn’t even considered but I doubt it, we have seemed to be fairly conservative with him. If he’s not right I’m sure the club has had many different specialists look at him. We certainly wouldn’t be just leaving it all in doc Reid and Justin Crow’s hands.

I would love some honesty about it from the club one way or another about how he is tracking over the next few weeks. Doubt we will get it though.

He has chunked up but probably been in a heavy weights phase considering the lack of running he can do. As an elite athlete it won't take long to shred a few legs off, running ability will be the key factor though...
