Exactly my point Yaco..

I could say "I love the bombers" and log on tomorrow to find that now apparently it 'shits ppl to tears' to have someone say they love a club.. and then have 10 sheep 'like' the post and add their own two cents about how it annoys them...

Luckily there are still some on here with the capacity for independent thought and the understanding that JUST because they play for EFC doesn't mean they are a 'champion' or can't have flaws etc etc..

However lets get the conversations back to JD.. from Hird's comments it looks like he could stay for the WCE game..

Ah no actually, that wouldn't happen rines.

*sigh*

Plenty of people are capable of independent thought. You are no more or less capable of it than anyone else here.

My honest reading is that you and a couple others took the whole 'my boy' discussion more seriously than it probably needed to be taken. It's an extremely inconsequential thing- we can all claim to have 'our boys'. In the end it makes not a jot of difference.

It's not worth getting worked up about, it's really that simple.

However lets get the conversations back to JD.. from Hird's comments it looks like he could stay for the WCE game..
Yes, back to Joe. Not sure why there was even a need to restart the debate in the first place.

Settle down rines - Kong was making a point that was non-specific to you and Lance was taking the piss out of people who claim 14 year old Nigerian orphans in the hope that they might one day come good.

At the end of the day, let's enjoy the fact that the club is now in a position that even supporters who were on the more negative end of the scale in the dark days of a few years ago are now thinking premierships.

I guess what I'm seeing is that he doesn't even need to add the 10kgs to probably cause a few defences issues this year... I mean adding kg's will happen and then he potentially becomes unstoppable but even 'as is' he seems to be finding space and looks to be agile and have good decision making/hands in particular.

Bit like Fletcher.. never adds weight but just got better and better at how to use his frame and build to best advantage..

The key will be JD building more aerobic capacity and endurance to mean he can sustain the effort over four quarters and then over multiple games in a row. Just like any other player that will take 3-4 pre-seasons (GC and GWS demonstrate that) but that doesn't mean JD can't have a real onfield impact now with the body, skills and endurance he has.

If he is fit, I think TRB will play him.

I think it's an interesting consideration- just how much do you bulk him up?

Obviously he's still a beanpole now and he'll put on some weight, but I don't know if we want him putting on so much that he loses his spring, speed and athleticism.

No point turning him into a truck.

Completely agree Doss

I think they should take it real slow and steady with the added weight. Last think you want is to add to much weight lose that agility, quick turning and speed.

I reckon 1.5kg added per year and play it by ear from there

Is his a lock for the WCE game? I think we will play him but I feel that we need Bellchambers to come back into the side. In Perth, we should go in with as much runners as possible.
