He just won't take a compliment either. He's been interviewed about 10 times last night, just taken MOTY, leading the Coleman, but every time he's asked something he keeps a straight face and just talks about the team. Love you Joe!

If you look closely you can see charlie coming out of Carlisle's nose as he gets smashed forward by Joe.

The most amusing part to me is Geary behind trying to help out Carlisle - I think his arms fully outstretched reach to the level of the top of Daniher's legs. That's how far away from being able to spoil he is.

Annoyed me last night seeing our players chipping the ball around 60 or 70 meters out from goal trying to find a free target. Just kick it long to the square, Daniher will out-mark every opponent. People have said no player will kick 100 goals again because it would mean 50% of goals coming from one player, well its not a problem because he'll beat his defender every time.

different type of player. plus Terry had better players around him (Watson, Madden, Baker, Vanders).

Joey could easily be the best player in the comp if he keeps on this trajectory. we win by big margins when he is on. he's electric!

Have to agree with this (seen them all too)
Joey has the natural talent like Neale, but is taller and more athletic.
Coupled with the fact that guys are full time these days, I think he has them all pipped, which is high praise indeed.
Will get better too.

Little premature on the best Daniher call. I didn't see much of the others but TD is rated as our 11th greatest player of all time and is one of our most highly respected Captains. Joe can no doubt go past him by the end of his career but he's not there yet.
