Could Daniher take some of the pressure off of Hurley? Daniher just looks such a natural forward and will demand the oppositions best or 2nd best KPD.

Daniher looks greats but I wouldn't be too hard on Pears as the majority of the time the delivery was fantastic. It probably says more about our lack of defence in the the midfield which has been a persistent problem which hopefully will be addressed this year.

The delivery to Daniher wasn't top notch ( from the video ), I thought he was under the ball, but the telescopic arms reach up and grab the ball.

JD is exciting.

He will play 10+ games in 2013.

looking forward to seeing this bloke play, not expecting anything big early but the footy landscape seems to have shifted toward these new types of key forwards, blokes who are 6ft'6, 6ft'8 but move so incredibly well you begin ponder the future of the standard lumbering ruckman.

Naitanui, Stanley, Vardy, Daniher, Lynch..these types are so invaluable and then you got the slightly smaller frames who seem as capable midfield as they are key forwards, Franklin, Cameron, Goodes or Daw and even Ryder who seems caught between a few different positions on the field.

glory be me...Daniher looks unbelievable.

Where else have I seen such a young player the last 30 years, at that height, who can leap like that ?

No one I tells ya.

Pop it up to him nice and high and who tf is going to beat him?

No one I tells ya.

I used to watch Salmon play in the U19s at WH before he hit seniors and even he didn't move like this 'kid'.

We have struck gold peoples. Gold I tells ya!!!!!

LA Lakers.
Buddy played 20 out of 22 games in his debut year, and kicked 27 goals. Can't see why Daniher couldn't play atleast 15 games.

It's true KPP take longer to develop, but this kid looks special. Plus, it would be good for a player to take some pressure off Hurley and Crameri in the forward line.

How is Daniher's work around the ground ? is he able to put some pressure on with tackles and chases ?

Nobody would know as he is always marking it at the highest point.

To be fair, it didn't look to me like Tayte was going that hard at JD. I think Joe can expect opposition defenders to be a bit more in his face so to speak.

Some nice stuff in that clip though. Big grab from Hardingham at the end and an interesting pass off the side of the boot from Fletch at about 4:20 that worked beautifully.

And yeah.. Joe is giving me little tingles in my thingles. Can't wait to see him next weekend.

A few people being a bit harsh on Pears here. JD is always going to win the 1 on 1 battle with Pears due to his height. I'm sure if it were a match situation there would have been a 3rd man coming in to give Pears a chop out. but as it's a praccy match we're not going to have blokes barrelling into JD and Pears just to spoil the contest. (Maguire and J. Brown anyone)

Don't take me the wrong way I'm a big fan, however I'm also a realist. Saying only one player has badly beaten Pears is just plain wrong.
