He doesn't look on for mine. I don't care about the handball. 9 times out of 10 that handball is a goal and he's no dead certainty from any set shot anyway.

His first half was not good enough and he lacks his usual intensity in all areas - on the mark, chasing etc.

The moment of jubilation for essendon fans turned into feelings of shock and despair within 2 seconds. Whilst we were outplayed for the majority, there is every chance we go on to win if joe goes back and slots it. I was so angry at the time.

Daniher actually got into the game during the 3rd quarter when he took a great pack mark on the wing in front of the bench, then he kicked a goal and another.

Why you do this joey?

If dumb dumb had kicked that even if we lost, I might have given him a vote for a much improved performance than last week but that handball is just inexcusable, maybe had he kicked 1.6 I could kind of understand it but his kicking was pretty good compared to last week.

I would drop him for that. Make him play Williamstown. Needs a wake up call.

And stop laughing on the field. Got too far ahead of yourself.
Agreed. Joey might well benefit from real consequences?
Stewart, Stringer forward. Hooker CHB(if he fails drop him).
Joey can have a week off in the 2's? OR just a week off. Let's see how we go then.
Enough is enough.
No-one is bigger than the club.
Watched Richmond today...they were all at it all the time. Suspect if they don't they'll be dropped.
Hardwick has clearly set non-negotiables.
Saw WC and Geelong. Great game.
Watched ours and it was a rabble. The type of footy WB like to play to cover their inadequacies.
Looking at the other teams I mentioned they have plenty of big guys running through midfield.
We got Devon Smith. Maybe look at picking up a couple of big bod midfielders who can't get a run at GWS?
Set non-negotiables at EFC. Out if not met. See if that helps.
Ok. Vented.

The handball was bad. But I doubt it would have changed the result. There was 400 errors before that one. Probably 10-15 just as bad in the backline that led directly to opposition scores.

Most notable was McGrath kicking it straight to a Dogs player who then kicked a goal, at least McGrath was clearly upset about it.

Whether Joeys decision to handball was wrong or right, that technique was horrendous. Standing with both feet together you can not have any balance or power. No wonder the ball dropped short at Greeneys feet. Even at auskick kids are taught if you are hand balling right handed your left foot is forward and vice versa. Simple stuff really.

He seems to have lost that enjoyment, goofy, "derp" to his game. From what I've seen he's not playing with that fun love of the game so far this season that we saw and loved last year.
