Apparently doing extra sessions on Friday nights by himself in the gym and on the track.

Someone wants another crack.
Love hearing this s**t!

He could be elite if he gets fair dinkum about the dedication required and gets some c*** in him too!

I think Hansen has the potential to break out in similar style to tom hawkins if he can actually get fully fit and have a hunger for the footy. About time he's working harder..

He's got a ripper MO at the moment as well, just quietly.... it's ultra dirty!

Is it just me or does Lachie always have a grin/bewildered look on his face when he takes a mark?

He did it in the VFL on Saturday as well, some genuine lulz.

Alot will disagree, but we are a better side with Lachie in the side.
IF he is utilised properly.

I would play him at full forward and bring Drew out to centre half forward.

This would straighten us up a lot more and allow us to benefit more from longer kicking.

Yell myself hoarse every week, because Drew should be center half forward.

We bomb it to Lachie, they're ain't going to be 23123214512312 blokes spoiling him in a contest.

No point hating on me. I'm just stating the undeniable fact that an extra 2 hour session a week won't make much difference in the short term ( for an already fit and strong bloke). In fact I don't get why a superb endurance runner is doing anything other than repeat 40m sprints and core weights sessions. He needs fast twitch fibre work which is best supervised, not done alone where it's very difficult to manage your session (at this level).

6 years and 8 games in and not part of a struggling 22, of course he is not up for trade/delisting. Lets keep the list unchanged for the next decade:thumbsu: I'm all for 9th -13th:thumbsu:

Yep. It also allows Drew to to take the ruckwork in the forward half and allows Todd to drop back a kick behind the play.

Hansen is actually a better mark than Drew from the front position and Drews tremedous work rate on the ground would benefit the side much greater up the ground and the crumbers can sit closer to goal and buzz around Lachies feet for the scraps.

This is a return to a classical forward set up.

Missing the point, wilfully. It's not that Lachie needs more fitness to reach his potential, but that he's been missing the dedication and attitude - so a willingness to bust his arse in the gym is a great sign, and a change that can make a difference for him and the team right now.

I say put him in the side for this Sunday.
Play him in defense, we all know he can take a contested mark.
I say he comes in for Delaney.

Luke needs to stay in the side to match up on Brown or Merrett.

He will be much better suited to either of those two than he was on Schulz.

Of course platter served delivery from the Brisbane midfield will need to be addressed.

If Brown and Merret get the service Schulz got last weekend then it won't matter who we play on them.

I am an unabashed fan.

I see irony in the fact that he is needed back in the team, I am not 100 % that he is where he needs to be for himself to come back.

I want him to demolish a side at VFL level, given the weekends game for the bees this does not look that far away.

Yeah i suppose our midfield needs to cop some blame, alot of those kicks were pretty much perfect out into space for Schulz.
It so frustrating to see how easily Port went coast to coast.

Our midfield needs to seriously address their tackling and defensive game.
Still hopefully Hansen gets a chance soon.
