There is no player I want to succeed more than Lachie. And that includes Ziebell.

Hope he plays up forward and is left there for the rest of his career. For him to be moved down back or even dropped I would expect Edwards to have kicked consecutive bags of 10 goals in the VFL for BS to even consider it.

Word is that Lach has really worked hard on keeping his intensity levels up, specifically focusing on his facial expressions. He has been frowning intensely for four quarters at VFL level but it remains to be seen if he can transfer this form to the AFL where the intensity levels are significantly higher. I'll be watching with interest to see if he can at least maintain his VFL stern look and not revert to his laconic open mouthed half stare at the first hurdle :stern look:

I'm stoked to see Hansen named this week.

Hopefully he'll prove to be our secret weapon for the second half of the season.
Bloody excited! Hope it's the Lachie we saw for large periods of 09/10.

All 3 ins are on the extended bench though - is there a chance he won't be picked in the final side?

Wherever he's utilised (and I agree with tef on where he should play) I hope he brings some of that anger the coach was happy to see from him at VFL level. I hope he's bursting at the seams to get out there and make an impact, and that, if he does play forward at all, he kicks straight. C'monnnnnnnnn Lachie!

Full Back on Tippet is where he should be.
Got a feeling he may be played back, but more so in a position where he can drop in infront of Tippett, rather than spoiling from behind, so that the only place where Tippet can get the ball on the lead is out wide. The bloke aint the best set shot so I reckon we'd be trying to force him to the boundary line by playing Lachie CHB and dropping off his man.

Very, very happy to see him back. People forget how good he was prior to tearing his hammy off the bone.

Play him in defence IMO. His best footy thus far has been there (by a fair margin). Can see why people want him forward with his marking skills, but it's not like tall, athletic, marking defenders grow on trees.

I hope the coach gives him free reign to roam and fly for everything.

I also hope he gets licence to get angry and smash in with murderous intent.

He should be encouraged to push boundaries.

Ola!! from the Canaries,
I like this very much, I also like to have Zeibell do the same and I dont care what anyone on BF thinks or says, but when he hit Reiwoldt and got outed, it made a much bigger statement than just that moment in footy. We need to have say 2 players that put the fear of Christ into the opposition. If this cost them to miss a game or three along the way so be it. I would to see the old Nth Melbourne back where the opposition respect us, respect us for the fact that we will give them an honest crack each and every time we go out and play.

Hey Tef whats the theory on the gif?? I like it anyway makes reading your posts even more pleasurable.:thumbsu:
