Incredible effort considering it’s this early in the season and he’s been out for 12 months.

He was striking the ball beautifully

And most impressively , that’s the best I have ever seen him present at the ball. He was carrying himself like a big ff and hitting up hard.

Couldn’t have asked for a better game for Logan

He's lost a bit of that puppy fat & put on some size through the arms and chest. I thought his combo with Curnow was great.
Im looking at a picture of him under Heeney's mark of the century in 24 and there's not one ounce of fat on him

Not so much their defence. They were missing Lobb, but that was pretty much it from their defensive stocks.

Which reminds me: Busslinger was named in their side but I don’t recall his name being spoken at all. Did he actually play?

Yer Dogs defence is very thin had Lobb played most likely he would of went to Curnow anyways.

Unsurprisingly rusty last night. First real game in 18 months and it showed. He'll be better for the run and he'll work his way up to speed. Still optimistic for him to have a good season. If he stays healthy he's going to be a really valuable contributor as the season goes on.

It’s been lost in all the Errol hysteria - but important to remember Logan lost all of 2025 to an ankle injury suffered in 2024.

If he’s done his ankle again, the reported look of devastation on his face could be telling.

I haven’t seen it - but others have said he looked shattered & didn’t participate in the team song.

I’ll be anxiously awaiting news on Logan too.

To be fair...he looks devastated after he kicks a goal sometimes 😔

Yeah I've noticed that. Very odd, he looked in worse shape than Isaac I thought.

Weirdly sometimes the ones that'look bad' are the best ones. Sometimes when you have had an injury there it's just scary more than anything but nothing more than that.

Nice if there's no injury, not having McLean in the side is better for us winning on Thursday.

If he doesn't play on Thursday, personally I'd have the 🔫 in - but I'm a little biased.

If he is out I'd play McClean as it keeps the structure but I worry how much agility we lose.

Gee, much of a muchness between the two in agility I'd have thought, with Pete having the edge. I'm more agile than McLean!

More the structure than anything. Grundy averages around 80% of ruck contests, so we are talking 20% here, so the second ruck has to be the best forward option for me. I don't even want to be tortured seeing Ladhams kick for goal again thank you very much. Loook it's much as much, I hope neither play and Logan is fit.

No use worrying about what you can't control. If Logan can't play you have McLean or Ladhams as the obvious replacement. Choose one and move on. I would choose McLean too but so what? Match Committee will do what they think best.
For Gulden, if Harry is fit enough I'd bring him in and give Mills midfield time. Matches better to Hawks setup. Again Match Committee.
For Heeney, I'd juggle the mids, use Robbo and so on with Corey coming in.

You didn't notice Joel do a pretty good impersonation of him the other night?
To each their own, my preference is Pete but I suspect Coxy will go for McLean if Logan doesn't get up.
