Well done Grigga, respect......
you helped us win a flag, you stuck it up a few, you probably could go around again but your taking one for team again to give/keep a young star a go and help list management.... The ultimate team man, loved by all.
It is a sad day to see such a great club player, premiership player and life member hang up the boots due to injury. Grigga you had a great career with us and I hope upon reflection that you don't regret the move from carlton one bit as we have enjoyed having you at RFC. Well done.
To see the emotion in the room was fantastic. (Tears from Dusty as well)
That emotion clearly shows the respect Grigg has earnt at Tigerland.
Being a premiership player he will always be remembered fondly.
Listening to his farewell the one thing that came through striong was his respect for Dimma and what he means to the players “you’ve always got our back “. Was the only time he struggled to get through that.
Well done to Grigga not one of my favourite players to watch but a great clubman and important character around the club. Along with Cotch and Dimma I think he’s been a very stabilising figure for Dusty
Shaun Grigg - respect, excellent utility player and great clubman.
Always performed well in whatever role he was asked to play.
Tough and consistent performer.
His retirement allows the Tigers to use a mid-season draft pick.
Loyal and selfless to the end - like the Tigers of old, strong and bold.
Hope he can overcome his injuries so he can enjoy his life after football.
