Getting a sneak preview this week it would seem rocker_oz33 !

I was a big advocate of the club biting the bullet and drafting/developing a young ruckman for a few years there.

It's nearly two years since this thread was started and Toby Conway is finally getting a taste of it - I think we've all been realistic as to his developmental timeframe and I don't recall any supporters expressing frustration or doubt.

I'm sure he'll have plenty of ups and downs in the next few years; Ruck is that one position where there is nowhere to hide and no alibi.

Despite the club's success over the Scott/Thompson years I have still regularly seen fit to second guess the club's decisions (the Jeremy Cameron trade was a recent one where I was just plain wrong - one of many instances over the years); the investment in Conway is one of the few times when the club and I seem to be on the same page regarding the best path forward.

Go well Toby Conway!

Glad he will have Stanley's support on debut.
