Hard as nails despite his looks. Should never be out of the side.Thought he was excellent and shows why the numbers don't tell the full story.
4 quarters of absolute desperation.
Yeah, easy to forget he and Gulden are still probably a couple of years away from their prime and not the finished products yet.He's either very good or very bad in the same game, a bit like our team. He needs to lift his poor quarters into average quarters. He's still young, hopefully this off-season he can improve on his kicking or utilise a different option.

And some journo rat has said Chad could be done for stagingWCE to challenge Baker's 1 match ban for his cheap shot on Chad;
The incident was deemed careless contact, medium impact and high contact. With no option for an early plea, the 27-year-old was offered a one-match suspension.![]()
Is this Eagle in trouble for a hit on Swans gun?
Liam Baker was involved in this incident with Chad Warner in the second termwww.afl.com.au
At no stage does Baker actually contest the ball or indeed look at doing anything other than bumping Warner.
Absolutely shit act IMO and if Baker does get off it is yet another indictment on the MRO/appeals system and their focus on outcomes (eg concussion).
I actually thought Baker was lucky to be only given the one week as that action does have the potential to cause significant harm.
It's my understanding that the medium contact grading is based on the potential to cause injury.
And I figure I'd get in before the mods and just observe it is totally unrelated to the Rankine punishment and should be judged solely as a 'football' act and the punishments handed down for those incidents.
My guess is that they’ll be going the “Alex Davies defence”. GC were able to successfully reduce his sanction from a week to a fine by arguing impact was lower (rather than medium) since the player collected wasn’t significantly affected.WCE to challenge Baker's 1 match ban for his cheap shot on Chad;

Was at the game and though tempted to make a run for it in the first half, was thankful to stick around for the fireworks - it was truly exhilarating and felt a bit like a celebration.Also while acknowledging that WC just completely stopped, how beautiful were those centre clearances in the last 6 or 7 minutes?
Grundy getting first use, Heeney doing the tough stuff, Chad bursting through and hitting targets... Brilliant to watch.
I will be happy if they got through that - the Mad Monday not the game - without any injuries!
