He was way better after Gus was subbed.I thought the player who stood up most last night was Rowbottom. His endeavour and pressure once he went into the middle was what we need from him. I hope he’s burning from losing midfield time and has a massive offseason to win his spot back. If he can be our Dunkley type again by winning more ball and being more influential at ground level, we’ll be looking a lot better as a side.
Maybe he’ll turn out to be the Warner brother everyone remembers.I want to commend Corey Warner. This was the best game he has played in the Red & White

I agree. I know he copped flak for burning Wilbur with his kick from 50 but I think it was actually good he backed himself. He's a beautiful kick on the run. Campbell needs to do a bit more of this as well.I want to commend Corey Warner. This was the best game he has played in the Red & White
Yeah absolutely agree! It's a weapon and should be used more.I do wonder what we’ve done to Campbell’s kicking, though. Used to be a beautiful long shot at goal. Now,he doesn’t seem confident to go for it.
I'm proud of my melty contribution in the game day threadHow about those first quarter melts![]()
Me too. They bloody deserved it. Clearly Coxy agree with all us on BFI'm proud of my melty contribution in the game day thread
Didn't go down like a sack of shit like Daicos to make it obvious. Sometimes you just have to as Gordon Bombay would say "hit the ice"How The Chad didn't get that free vs Baker i'll never know.
Was as obvious as.
If Gulden can build his strength to win the hard balls, that does sound attractive. With Grundy in the ruck, Blakey on one wing and JMac on the other, that’s an extremely dynamic midfield group.I know injury forced our hand to change things up but playing Warner more forward this year has really hurt us. At the game last time he was spending large chunks playing out of the square , even 4”9 Errol was playing at ff. That’s not the answer.
It was great to see lizard playing there late, but that move should have come come 3 months ago .
Why on earth dean thought playing Warner essentially as a key forward when he has lizard at his disposal is beyond me.
I know it was the last few minutes of the game in a dead rubber , but when heeney Errol and Chad were in the cba in the fourth it was a pure masterclass.
Those 3 just have to be the mids moving forward
Thought he was excellent and shows why the numbers don't tell the full story.I thought the player who stood up most last night was Rowbottom. I love Chad , but i reckon he's been off the ball the last couple , those dinky little kicks are shithouseAlso while acknowledging that WC just completely stopped, how beautiful were those centre clearances in the last 6 or 7 minutes?
Grundy getting first use, Heeney doing the tough stuff, Chad bursting through and hitting targets... Brilliant to watch.
