MELBOURNE DEMONS!!!
i got goss!!!

good news :) and bad news:(

good news...
GRIGIC WASN'T AT TRAINING!!! gee, you can imagine how sad and depressed we were:rolleyes: (me and OR went).
they all looked great concidering it was drizzling most of the time.
walshy, wizzy and lamb all had full and complete training sessions - it looks like lamb WILL be playing!!!
oooh, tommo's mummy was there! they have the same nose, and mouth! :p

bad news...
jono wasn't there at all!!!
woey didn't train, although made an apperance for the second half of the training session (he looked good!;) )
gus also made a VERY short apperance
whelan and jolly just did laps the whole time

over all, the guys looked happy... laughing, yet training hard the whole time! yze almost kicked robbo in the head a few million times (as you could imagine, or (DEES RULE!) wasn't to happy!)

it looks like they haven't given up, and are all looking forward to the match tomorrow, and it was good to see that the fans hadn't given up, and there were quite a few there, regardless of the sh!t weather.

aswell as that, we went to chappel, and sadly saw Corry McKernan crossing the road. no, i'm sorry, we didn't run him over, i figured i'd feel bad after i had done it:D ...

good luck to the dees for the tomorrow!!!
GO DEES!!!

Does Johnstone ever train. Is he still at Melbourne. He is hopeless! Get rid of him.(':o')
Good to hear they are in good spirits, probably in better spirits than the supporters.(':p')
That is dedication going to training!

Well first of all Johno is NOT hopeless, he came back from injury and i think he played with Sandy this week. He does come to training when he isn't injured, and if Johno is dropped before Grgic than i would have to go and kill the selectors!
The guys are in good spirits and training is always a great way to see exactly how every player goes as well as showing the guys we support them always.
Dedicating is sticking with your team, and going to training is part of it.... so yeah i'd have to say me and dees*gal are defenetly dedicated and so are a lot of other people on this board.

GO DEES! :)

dees01....you have hit the wrong spot saying that Johnno is hopeless!!!

Trust me, Melbourne would have not made a stupid enough decision to pick him at Number 1. if he didn' have potential. Unfortunantly, he's been stricken with injury over the past couple of seasons, but just you wait, once he's fit, you'l be choking on your words

I hope I am but I have not seen enough to make me change my mind. It really annoys me that we could have got Ottens or Croad instead.

Yeah but we didn't, we got Johno and he is a brilliant player who has had rotten luck with injuries!
Demon i agree with you 100%, Johno is a great player and one that i don't mind putting up with for as long as it takes for him to proof that he is brilliant!

GO DEES! :)

He is not great. It is a word we use to freely. James Hird, Wayne Carey, they are GREAT.
Johnno is not even good at the moment. Injuries have not helped but apparantly his attitude is not very good either.

WE did get Ottens. it was just the wrong freakin one. GRRR bloody has been Luke. cant even get a game in the SANFL now. and johnno better lift his game cos he has had his chances. the club cant persist with him foreva.

His attitude used to suck, but now he has matured and got around to it, and he is very presistant and sticking with his rehabilitation program. Powell and him had the same opertion, and Powell can't even walk properly yet, so why should Johno be out and running on the ground like he is 100% fine???

GO DEES! :)

I've seen Powell at the footy this year and he was walking fine to me. I do know that his injury is very serious though.

Well there was an article a few months ago about him, he said that he hasn't had a good night sleep in 14 months and that sometimes it hurts him to do even the simplest things, e.g- walk!
i feel sorry for the guy, he is a superstar and he is defenetly one of the worse injuries the club can have.... just isnt our year i guess! :(

GO DEES! :)
