I dont know why he doesn't just get fit and play out his contract. **** he must really hate the place.
Must be a little hard to face the other players after sooking it up two years in a row, if he wants opportunities he needs to work hard or go back to bush football where you can get away with being half arsed.

He doesn't apply enough pressure. He doesn't run hard enough to get into space hence why he hardly gets a touch. There needs to be a huge turn around for this guy to make it. He should take a leaf out of Clay Smith's book and see what he needs to do to be a contributor.

Time to see if he meant those words in his article. Not much competition for a spot in the forward line. If he works his ass off he could push in there.

Sure if he doesn't do well he will be out of the system, but it is just dumb to give up and 300-400k contract for a 50k contract. That is pure cluelessness, considering it may be his last big year on year salary. No professional sports player would do that, particularly at his age, and no training in another field to go to.
I dont think you are getting exactly what im saying here !

He wants a fresh start and a new club, No club will want to take him if they need to pay him $400k and 1 more year of the way the last 3 has gone and its curtains for him - Finished career and off to sanfl or wafl

If he believes in his ability to play and is working hard at the things he mentiones in his promo lol , He would jump at going to another club and prove that he has ability and make a career for himself.

2017 if he doesnt pull the digit out of his ass and stop blaming others and actually works - He might just save his career otherwise its curtains for him.

i reckon this is his time to shine.

he has a great amount of ability, and a lot of good attributes, just needs to combine it all together. I'm hoping he is fit and ready to go from round 1, reckon he adds another dimension upforward with his marking and kicking.

Is he any chance to get de-listed by mutual agreement?
No. From what I understand, he wanted out for more opportunity. Now Lids has gone, the position he was competing for has now become his. He is now Best 22 and has all the opportunity he can handle, injury permitting. Be stupid to leave now.

Whilst I think working on your defensive game is important, it is not the role Lennon should be playing, particularly now we have Rioli. Lennon should be playing as an attacking forward, not a defensive one. I'm sick of the club killing players attacking flair and natural instincts. Stop trying to turn them into something they aren't and start developing them for what they are.

Exactly Kiwi. I know he has had limited pre seasons but pull your digit out Ben.

so even if he does improve etc he's obviously gonna want to leave next year anyways.
Not necessarily.
Don't see why he can't have a great year and decide that Richmond is the place for him after all.
I still have high hopes for him but his attitude is obviously very poor.

He just need to get it into his thick head that he isnt that bloody special and needs to work bloody hard to catchup to where he should be and listen and do what the coaches have been telling him since the day he arrived at the club.

Train harder
Work Harder
Chase Harder
Dont be lazy and act like your spent with your hands on your waist
Improve your defensive game when your not in play
Improve your tank
Improve your speed
Improve your attitude

He is far from an AFL standard player but can make it if he works at it

I'd Rather Lennon be referred to as average....I've seen nothin so far that makes me go 'wow'...more like, 'pull your finger out Ben'
..lets see if he can prove supporters wrong
12 months to do...or outski'
He can take a grab and has a decent boot on him, so he can put together highlight reels that get people excited. But I don't know if he's an AFL player. Next year is make or break for him.
