Yep had imo his most complete game of the season, his pressure and tackling was sensational, did a lot of selfless running and chasing.

Danny Butler will line up for our VFL game V Willy this Saturday evening - great timing

Let's hope he gets through the game unscathed with the hope that he might be a sneaky Prelim inclusion

Don't think he has to light it up. Just has to get through the game.
Might not make the first final but I think Dimma wants him back badly.

Lloyd is a good solid run of the mill depth player. He will play if 2 or 3 of our best 22 aren't available.
Very very difficult to keep all three of Butler, Castagna and Rioli quiet over the course of a full game when they all play. We've seen on several occasions at least one, sometimes two pop up and influence the game.
As soon as he is ready I'd play Butler.

His speed will help us crack open a close game.

It's a trio of small forwards that causes such problems. Getting ball out of the defense is so much harder when the three of them are chasing your tail. And they tend to get a goal or two through speed and attack.

It's not Butler as such, it's that he completes our trio of attacking terriers (terrors )

One of the reasons I think they will hold Butler off until the second final. Could be wrong. Even with limited minutes in VFL this week i can't see him backing up in a big final 5 days later.
