Haven't had a player this hyped up since Cripps in his second year. Perhaps this one more so.

I was more worried than excited at first given the amount of talk.

But the kid well and truly put my worries to rest.

Not polished but that will come with time. Same with better measuring his seconds with ball in hand.

But far out is he explosive? He always knows where the ball is. Not afraid to get his hands dirty against bigger bodies. And I reckon he will become far more damaging on the scoreboard compared to our other star mids both past and present.

Definitely saving the watchability of Carlton on his own at the moment and definitely the face of the next attempted tilt whenever that comes. And he is humble as they come. Doesn't see himself as anything more than a valuable team contributor. A damn great attitude to have. LOVE our new no. 7

They're both going to be absolute superstars.

They've had success with Lalor's type (Dusty) and know that's the type that breaks open finals.

Neither team will regret their selection.

Great recruiting to turn those picks and Owies into Jagga and eventually Frankie Evans.

If Jagga progresses under the coaching he should end up a player who pulls high level Brownlow votes.
