I'm a pilot and I don't wear aviatiors, to avoid looking like a (bigger) w***er.

I don't like big sunglasses in general, and aviators fit that category. These are mine:

They're a little bit Morpheus-y, but they go alright - wear them for everything (skiing, sailing, golf, tennis, driving, beach). Titanium frames. Had them for close to 10 years now and they're still in excellent condition.

I have a pair. More curved than the Top Gun Ray-Bans. Quite like the ones Swanny posted earlier in the thread.

They look significantly less stupid on me than most other sunglasses.

I'm packing a fairly hefty nose, so I think the balance works reasonably well.

Naught wrong with the aviators.

Bought a counterfeit pair from ebay last year and was impressed with how close they are to the originals. But the tag that says "genuine since 1957" or whatever had misspelled "genuine", bless their industrious souls.

Have a mate who wears them all the time. He wants to be an aeronautical engineer or something like that so we forgive him but some give him a ribbing every now and then especially when it's totally unnecessary to be wearing them.

I got a pair of these which are a variation on the traditional style they are rayban 3136 caravans and i get lots of love for them. BTW get them on the ebay from the USA and save yourself $100.
