No idea if the stats reflect it but I thought he was poor in the first half, but IMO he was very impactful in the second half including his kicking (which I don't always rate).

Still needs another preseason to add some muscle and fitness. Is not a half-forward, but that's the only position available to him atm.

His kicking, especially inside 50, was on point today. I've criticised him for it in the past but he had a pretty damned good game today. 7 score involvements from 13 possessions is elite.

Interesting. I remember his debut and being impressed how clean he was.
I still see him improving with more games. Going to be a very serviceable player.

Yeah he was great.

Tackling hard, running hard, good use, smart decisions.

Thought he competed well in the air a few times today, then followed up with a fair bit of gusto.

I haven't always been satisfied by his disposal quality or numbers, but he smashed it out of the park on both accounts today as well as standing up on other fronts. Loved his performance.

His ability to lockdown a player and compete very strongly in the air makes him a very dangerous player when he gets all the facets of his game online at once. Potentially a very key cog in the future, and given the scuttlebutt we made him keep his weight down I'm interested in what he can achieve if he is allowed/able to put on some more size and strength. IMO he could end up regularly destroying the playmaking HBFers/wings.

Still an inside mid stuck at HF, but if he can build to a 20 disposal average, he will be doing well.
