Any names you can mention?
Not with any certainty of quality Over the next decade we're likely to have a run of them if they are good enough. Every other year or more.

Archer, Harvey x2,Stevens, Makepeace x2 the other Scott.

However for every Bailey Scott there's a Lachie Fairley or Darcy Sholl.

Bailey will be fine - poise, good game sense and great around goal.

Should play at least 8 of the remaining games.

200 game wingman/hff/mid in the making.

When he gets the miles in the legs , he’ll jump up and slap this league around.
Footballer with nice skills and a
great footy brain.

Up your nick Blakely you scarecrow looking bag of bones. Imagine trying to sell memberships with that as the face of a club.

Thanks, we haven't had a lot of luck with FS over the years - hence why Blakey's call to stay home with mum really stings. There does seem to be a lot of females in the past player cohort which bodes well for our AFLW team.

Blakeys did us a favour. Let us nab Curtis Taylor.

Be great if 4 or 5 of those 7 you mentioned can play a bit. Would love to hear the outcry from 17 other clubs about the unfairness of it all.

The BF crew really does pile on and pile off quickly. Really nice game from Bailey and he has great potential for the future but how quickly we forget that in all his previous games this year he has been invisible and underwhelming. If he comes out next week and reverts to a 7 or 8 possession game with no goals, which is very likely for a guy still yet to play 10 games, will they pile off again? The reality is with Scott that even with continuity for the rest of this year and all of next year he is unlikely to become a consistent player until 2022 when he gets to 40 odd games. If he can show us regular enough glimpses of what we can expect when he gets there and shows improvement, that is great. Any more than that in 20/21 is an absolute bonus.

Once he's filled out a bit more like his Oldman.

How can anyone "pile on and off" a 7 game junior draftee with barely a year of footy under their belt?

There's people around here who are clueless about blokes that have played 200 games.

Gonna be quite the player when he hits his mid 20's.

I don't think people realise how good he can be just yet, easily a 200 gamer in the making.

Let's just be patient and measured. There were plenty proclaiming how Ahern was going to be a 200 game player after his effort in Tassy against the Eagles. Right now it looks like he might struggle to play 50.

What was pleasing as much as anything is that Scott showed he can probably play a different role in the short term to what his long term one will be. It makes it easier to keep him in the team and get those games into him while he builds his frame, endurance, game sense, and confidence. I think that's one of the challenges with LDU, for example. I am confident he will be a gun midfielder in time but not confident that he really can play as a forward. That makes it a more challenging decision to keep him in the team and play him a genuine mid, knowing that we will need to accept the inconsistency of a young player but will be far better off in a year or two for having done so.
