I think it would benefit Jetta as well, can interchange them on the outside run or off of half back, and obviously to rest up forward for a few cheapies.
yep Jetta needs a mentor, as far as ability goes Wellsy makes him look like a pre schooler..

So If he gets 3 @ $550-$600k, that would end up being pick 19 compo? Or could we then trade him to west coke for 12?

If they want him and will give up 12, we'd be crazy to turn that down.

Dangerfield was restricted, and both sides agreed to trade rather than go through the free agency route to make the process easier.

if Danger was unrestricted Adelaide wouldn't have gotten anything.

Not fussed with outside runners not tackling, that's not what they are used for. The outside run is something we do need.
Mate, ya need em to do both, otherwise opposition just run ball through their opposing players. No player can be a liability on the rebound.

Only two players for the doggies who didnt lay a tackle on thursday, and they were tall key defenders! NO PASSENGERS, thats what footy is turning toward.. JJ lays tackles too

Again; GWS, their outside runners also tackle..

No offence, but if you think you can have outside players that dont attack the ball you are ****in nuts

And thats been very evident in the back half of our season! When we havent got the momentum, its cleared out way too easily, its not game plan or structure! Its the inability to apply enough pressure from our outside players to stop opposition run

Edit: del, boomer and WELLS

Cunners, Ziebell...

Some who choose when to put in defensively and others who struggle to do so.

To cheer me up I watched the second half of the elimination final against * the other day. Cunners was smashing everyone with his tackling. Looked so much faster on the ground and a couple of kgs lighter. Something was wrong with him this year because 2014 Cunners is still in there

I think you can carry one or two without hurting too much so long as the offensive output is high enough, but no doubt teams get creamed on the rebound if carry too many.

Boomer has been a liability defensively most of his career (Dal likewise), but his offensive skill clearly outweighed the negatives as an example. No doubt why Scott is so keen to get Anderson, Garner, Turner types around them to swing the ledger the other way.

I think this is changing. Maybe you can carry a tall or two in that regard, but the speed at which teams rebound today it only takes the slightest lapse defensively to expose the defence. Dogs approach to blanket pressue is the new black.
