The Oakleigh Chargers product made his AFL debut against Richmond at Marvel Stadium in Round 5, 2019 and finished the season with 12 senior games beside his name. Rowbottom also led the NEAFL MVP voting when it was hidden from the public after Round 12. The young Swan is a ball magnet, explosive at the stoppages, an outstanding tackler and a clean user of the footy.

All the talk in the media has been about TheChad... But I reckon without Rowie there'd be no ChadTalk.

He has stepped up moreso than anyone else the past month or so IMO & is a key reason for our positive form.

Just hope he can not only keep it going in finals... but, hopefully, if at all possible, step it up another cog when it's all on the line. I guess we'll see.

To this point though he's obe of my first picked each week. Up there with Millsy & Parks.

Yeah great call. He seems to relishing the responsibility and pressure.

Career best game and his improvement this year has been staggering.

Deadset turning into one of the most impactful players in the competition. No idea how this season ends for us or where his career goes, but being arguably our best player over a stretch where we've gone 8-0 with a percentage of 151.6%, beaten four finalists & two top four sides and made it to a home prelim final is a nice bit of legacy for a player to have earned so early into his career.

Watching that number 8 from the Swans Cheer Squad end last night in the 4th term, multiple times breaking through the congestion was elite. This season, he has broken into the next Tier towards where Parker is at.

Between Rowey and The Chad, they are both exciting to watch. Crowd loves them.

Very close to taking the mantle as my fave current Swan. Love his interplay with Chadwick, and whilst sometimes he is prone to hacking it forward, he is becoming the king of willing the ball forward from congestion and relieving pressure.

Tough as nails, and complements our other mids so well.

Early Mills and Heeney
Mid Season the Chad and Mills
Later more Chad, Papley and Rowy
Consistent others Hayward, McCartins, Florent, Blakey.
Reckon that's pretty close to the Skilton top 10. My top 2 would be Mills and Chad.

yeah, fair enough ... papley missed, what, five or six at the start? but he's quite clearly been a catalyst for our best form this season
