Players deserve an absolute cook after that first half effort, we've seen it too many times its becoming a habit. Really need to be drilled in that that was completely unacceptable, regardless of a better second half.

Why put in effort in the first half when you know you only have to put in some effort in the 2nd half to not get dropped? And to top it off, you don't out yourself as not being fit enough.

i dont think it was ****ed up. i think errol and campbell were both seen as players that could go from 10-20. one went high and one low.

Agree with everything bar Hayward who was good today. 2 goals and could have kicked another. I do get the frustration with him in general given his inconsistencies.

I've been critical of Blakey and still missing a trick imo playing him so deep.

But that last defensive effort and his chasing was great today, got a lot of ball kicked straight to him at times, but thought he battled at least more than he had other weeks.

Just think he could have won the game in the middle rather then defend it in the back half.

I know it doesn't fix all but we seem unable to get anyone getting it 25 plus a week with any consistency outside maybe Roberts .

We have one.

He had 13 disposals and a goal in under half a game.

He’s kicked goals every week.

He makes a positive difference.

But Cox still prefers to pick blokes delisted by dud clubs.

We may have lost the game before the ball bounced. Playing Sheldrick from the start would have allowed Warner and Heeney to rotate forward. I believe that the tide swung when Sheldrick came in - all of a sudden the balance looked right. This is amplified when you consider that Paton was totally ineffective and on a hard tag Martin collected 12 possessions in the first quarter.
