He was on the benchDid Hanily travel ?
Drew is a good tagger and sat hard on Chad.Excellent write up. Loved the stats. Thanks!
I actually liked that Chad didn’t dominate and we still did well. We can’t complain that we rely on our stars too much, and then also complain when our stars don’t shine so bright.
I tend to agree and it shows up in the footy they are putting out. It's more also not convinced there's that many good teams

He must have because he didn't play in the reserves. By the way do you get to see the reserves much when they are in Melbourne?Did Hanily travel ?
Are you on Prozac? You never see anything Rose Coloured skies on Prozac. Great antidepressant. a pity about the side effects turning everyone into the most positive people on the planet. lolYou guys doubting the finals run have rocks in your head.
I have already booked my Melbourne flights and hotels for GF weekend.
I have seen it. We scrape in at 7th, win every final and beat the pies 78 to 62 in the GF - one of those games where the better teams leads start to finish but is never comfortable.
Zero doubt.
I almost had another heart attack! He would have loved Hayward's dribble kick.
Can I have some of whatever it is your having???You guys doubting the finals run have rocks in your head.

The commentary lineup was terrible.Watched a bit of the last term again:
"Sydney, just holding on"
"Sydney tonight are playing the same level of football that saw them make the GF"
"The game has felt like a Grand Final"
Dwayne Russell ladies and gentleman
Why I always, always mute. The commentary lineup was terrible.
Who thought having Roo and Burgoyne on together was a good idea.
Then you had Derm mumbling in the background
Say that againYep ok we should take out his dad
Even a gameHuge contest Friday night coming up
Dogs playing Richmond I know but my god they have some weapons ..
Gunna take our best ..
2 less than against RichmondSomeone with more time than me can probably work it out. However it seemed like the swans handballed more frequently, more efficiently and over a greater distance last night. Compared to the rest of the season.
Just how I like it.You guys doubting the finals run have rocks in your head.

To my eyes we seemed to have a lot more loose players around & ahead of the ball to use by hand, rather than looking up, being swarmed and outnumbered by opposition and having to just bomb it long. Whether that was because Port's pressure was that bad or our work rate to present as an option was better than usual, or a combination of both, I don't know.Someone with more time than me can probably work it out. However it seemed like the swans handballed more frequently, more efficiently and over a greater distance last night. Compared to the rest of the season.

Out never to come back;
Eagles
Port
Dees (1 good, 1 bad just won't get it done)
Tigers
North (could be a Top 8 side next year)
Essendon (how they are where they are has me scratching my head)
Carlton (not good enough)
Saints (same as Carlton. An honest footy team but that is all)
Those hustling for a spot, maybe not top 4
Dogs
Giants (their best is as good as any of the top sides. Their worst is in the same category as Carlton)
Freo (inconsistent and mostly win at home)
Hawks (inconsistent and like Freo mostly win on home decks)
Suns
Swans (now getting players back and the coach is starting to show his game plan. Maybe too late though)
Top 4 Quality
Pies
Lions
Cats
Crows
Maybe Suns.
Where does that leave us. I think in the second category. If we got a run on we can win enough to just qualify.
Reckon you're right. I suggested it looked like we would run more and we did. The handball was an important part of that. Caught Port out a few times. Vs Richmond 254 kick to 135 HB (34.7%). Vs Port 211 to 133 (38.7%).Someone with more time than me can probably work it out. However it seemed like the swans handballed more frequently, more efficiently and over a greater distance last night. Compared to the rest of the season.
We’re not gonna make it. We would have to win at least 7 of the last 9, which I don’t think we will, but even if we do, our poor percentage will work against us. We’d have to win 8 out of 9 to make sure we’re in the 8 and I just can’t see that happening even with out best team.
I’d love to be proved wrong, but we left ourselves far too much to do. A noble 10th place is the best we can hope for imo.
