Melbourne play like we should. They take risks, move the ball up the corridor at every opportunity and move it fast. It says something when you're jealous of a bottom 4 sides style of play.

We were playing the same brand of football early in the year then Malthouse tweaked some things to try and make us a more defensive side and we've been insipid ever since. So much for 'winning form is good form'.

Not the first time our inaccuracy has reared its ugly head this season, and unfortunately, I don't think it will be the last.

In the six matches that Chris Dawes has played, Collingwood has kicked more goals than behinds in four of them. The other two were the loss to Geelong when the team kicked 6.14 which wasn't good, and then the following week against Brisbane with 11.14, but at least Dawes kicked 2 goals straight in that match, but was then dropped. I think he straightens the team up. The score of 9.22.76 is the score that North Melbourne kicked in the 1977 Grand Final draw. Collingwood kicked 10.16.76 that day, but Melbourne kicked 11.10.76 yesterday.

There has been times when Collingwood has done that season, and times when Melbourne has not done that this season. The current forward structure is wrong which is effecting the whole team.

can't wait for him to be gone, hope he takes his average mongrel fav players like Barham, OBree and McAffer with him.
