Ziebell had 30 touches as well, but it was few and far between.
Cunners stood up also. That was back in the day when he was yet to back his kicking and instead had a heap more handballs from memory.

Spitter, JZ, Cunners, and even Scooter (if I recall correctly) all put in. It's no coincidence that they're all competitive beasts made for finals.

There can be only one...
When you factor his first month or so was very poor by his standards (understandable given how much footy he missed), the home stretch has been very good.

I reckon his delivery inside 50 has improved too. Pinpoint passing rather than skied kicks in.
He has got his pace back in terms of speeding away from contests. Its as if he knows hes back to his best. Confidence is sky high for Spitta.

He has also been averaging 4.2 inside 50's a game since his return, which is equal 24th in the comp and only .1 behind Boomer
Further to this though, his goal assists per game is at 0.5, which is about 140th in the league. Boomer is 0.9, so almost twice as effective for almost the same amount of I50's. League leader is Leroy Jetta at 1.5 per game.

Bloke is an elite clearance player of the competition. Unfortunately people have short memories of just how good his best is. A bonus for the NMFC is that his very best is yet to come IMHO, and it's very exciting with the group that are coming up around him.

He isn't overly quick, but is lightning around clearances.

Great anticipatory skills. Always hits the ball on the move.

His first quarter against Adelaide a few years ago was immense. Had 9 clearances.
