Well done, great player and to top it off he didn't go chasing the cash.

He could have easily got bigger money elsewhere but chose to stay loyal.

He is good, could just imagine him falling away pretty quickly after 4 years. That's all.
He said himself that he'll be 31 when the new contract extension expires and that could be time to pull up stumps, depending on his form and how he's feeling mentally. I have 100% faith in his ability to be a major contributor during the contract's full term, barring a catastrophic injury, and that's a risk worth taking with the most important players I reckon. He's certainly one of those IMO.

Really good insight into the club with his Interview, really doesn't sound like the players are phased by the $$$, just want team success and absolutely buying into what the club is selling.

Would expect thats an incredibly rare thing in modern sport.

Forgot Spitta was in the 28 region too, must be the boyish good looks that threw me off.

Hopefully with regained fitness and more outside and forward options than ever Andrew can start being a bit more dangerous again. 7 goals (14 behinds) and 16 goal assists in his last two seasons (35 games) is a fair bit below what I think he's capable of. Too smart of a player to be impacting the scoreboard that little, reckon playing through injury and rehabilitation cost him that little bit of poise.

Not getting much love...he is a work horse...at the bottom of every stoppage since Rd 2.

He might not have the bells and whistles or game changing ability of others, but he is a tough bugger.

With Cunners in tandem, both were outstanding around the ground today.

his kicking was a lot better this week compared to last! hopefully he'll find his peak form by the end of the year, i think he is still a far way of his best.

Lots of upside to come from the skipper.
Yeah it was, but I was amused (see: very ******* concerned) when he had the pill for a kickout.

I'd add in Ziebs to make it a triumvirate of warriors in and around stoppages and contests today, with Spitter leading the way as a captain should. He's been fantastic and he's as tough as a mofo.
