There's another side to that, we might be able to buy D. Swallow cents on the dollar if he wants out.
Indeed. The family seem pretty tight-knit and I wouldn't imagine a drug den on Cavill Avenue was how mum and dad Swallow envisaged their boy spending his time.

True either or for me. But times a ticking away for our list in it's current shape. I think with the AFL's backing GC would love to show the footy world how they're facing up and beating any off field troubles by recruiting the best cleanest guy doing the rounds.

I reckon we could get their first pick and a decent player. This isn't about footy results this will be about public approval. And **** me,the AFL love to be seen 'ticking boxes'. This is their franchise and it's showing them up.

Regardless of who, when and where the GC are ripe for the plucking and we better be front and ******* centre on this one.

Back to his see ball get ball best, with a sprinkling of anger and no fear. Me likey!

I heard his interview with 3AW post game while wandering out of Jihad and he sounded even angrier than JMac flying the flag when they asked him about selections this week. "Dropping four players, is that a statement of sorts? Do the leaders have any say or is it all up to match committee?" he was asked. "Oh we (the leadership group) discussed selection a lot this week, particularly one of the players who was omitted. Not naming any names though." he replied.

"So, Lindsay Thomas?" "Not naming any names but we wanted players who we were certain would give us everything they had. Players you can rely on." said Spitta.

Ouch!

It's actually the first time I think I've heard him speaking with genuine authority and I liked it.

^^^Sounds a bit stiff on Lindsay if so.

Gives his heart for the team a lot more than others.

Could the leadership group nominate their own from last week?

*cough* Gibson *cough*
I said the same to Missus Toes as I was listening to it. It sounded a lot like they'd had many chats with him since the greater focus on his techniques and still being involved when things aren't going your way and last week was a last straw. Without being within the vas deferens of the inner scrotal leadership chatter I guess we're left to draw our own conclusions.
