Thats open for discussion i would lean towards Goldstein or JZ, could have duel captains.
So if there is no clear standout why would you bother changing it?

Goldy isn't going to go from not being in the leadership group to becoming Captain.

Ziebell is inconsistent, needs to take his game to the next level and cut out the undisciplined acts that cost him games of footy.

I dont think Swallow provides what we need as Captain... doesnt mean he cant be a solid player with in it....
In my opinion Captains need to be able to take that great solid mark or kick that much needed goal... something Swallow is not great at...

The hawks swapped from Mitchell and it has paid dividends.... i know you all love him but he aint taking us to a flag....

Great game today, laid a lot of really crucial tackles in the second half to keep the ball in our possession. Reckon it was probably his best game in two, maybe three years.

Well maybe in you Opinion, But Goldy is Captain material....
JZ plays the game hard, and has been hard done by by the old MRP which was crap.... he will most likely take over as Captain next year....

His lateral movement and agility is still outstanding for a guy that's torn his achilles. He has an extraordinary ability to take quick steps sideways to get around a player or to get out of traffic.

The inside dynamic will be interesting with the return of Ziebell this week. I think we look much better with Cunners and Swallow doing a majority of the inside stuff and we can be a bit imbalanced with all three of them in there.

Funny thing with Spitta is that he doesn't look physically powerful like Cunners or JZ, but not only is his tackling second to none, but he seems to have incredible core strength which allows him to break tackles himself, and use that lateral movement you mention.

I have to admit Swallow was huge yesterday. Alot of us are calling for a new captain next year in J.Z or Goldy but some posters have said Swallow should be Captain next year and after that performance i say fair enough !
Sometimes we forget how good he is at his grunt work when his form is slightly down myself included.
One bit of play when he came out of a pack like a canon ball and i said to myself how did he do that!
And some of his tackling was immense, stopped the Freo player from running it out of the pack on numerous occasions by polaxing him flat on the spot..
