Just noticed that in the Official AFL Player Rankings, Cripps has just become the number 1 player for Carlton ahead of Kade Simpson. Well done Cripps!

He is now listed as the 77th best player in the AFL and his upward trend isn't looking like slowing down

Whoever does the rankings is a dead set tosser as his numbers are pretty similar to last year???
They have obviously just picked up what we have been salivating over only this year.

I stand to be corrected, but I think the ratings are done over the last 100 games (could be less, maybe 60?).

As he has yet to play that many his numbers just keep going up. The fact that his stats are the same or better than last year are why he is consistently going up.

As you can see, his ratings have consistently been rising the past 2 years. With a decent game on the weekend, he could actually crack the top 40. Maybe 30.

Yup, it's a rolling average and I don't think he's even met the minimum games quota yet.

Bontempelli smashed into the top 20 when he did.

EDIT: It's 40 games, and he's at 43. Should continue to uptick at this pace and he'll be well into the top 30 after 50 games.

I reckon the ratings really over rate Metres Gained as a metric, so I want Crippa to start bombing it forward more and get some more metres gained haha.
