Happened in front of me. Ambrose punched him right in the guts.Great game on Sat, hope there are many more to come. Hands are very good, great football brain, just has to tidy up his kicking and he will be gold.
Did anyone see the reason why he was doubled over on the AFL member's wing in, I think it was the 2 qtr.

While it probably should have been looked at, punching someone in the guts does not equal punching someone in the head. Yarran deserves everything he's getting for losing his cool.Yeah I didn't think it would be anything legal coming from those "brave" boys.
Hence my argument, why is it acceptable to punch a player below the shoulders, do the kids not see those ones? Was it not high impact as Cripps was doubled over longer than Chapstik. AFL hypocrisy at its best.

Why am i not surprised a * player would pick on a kid
Ask Cripps and Chapman who was feeling better after the game and you'll find your answer. Why probably, a punch is a punch. The AFL allows jumper punching or punching below the shoulders and they allow players to take a swing and a miss. This is all ok under AFL rules. What's the difference between punching someone in the guts or in the head, both are an act of violence or anger. Yarren will get what he deserves but the instigator will walk away.
Punching someone in the guts when their not expecting it is more of a dog act than punching someone in the head when their trying to go toe to toe with you
It's going to be exciting watching cripps and bont move up forward and completely dominate their taggers by beating them with height!
(Is it too early to give cripps the number 43?)
Has Cripps already won this year's Rising Star award???
