Big Billy Longer.
Was a side push, no free kick...wonderful, Judd like.

Do you think the AFL hatred of Carlton could see them overlook Cripps 23 contested possessions and 11 tackles?
What I loved almost as much, was the 3rd player in (Saad maybe?), bends down to get the ball and gets fresh air. Cripps is already off with the handball while he stumbles for balance.Big Billy Longer.

Round 4 Rising Star Nominee - Well Done Crippa! Your going to be a beast in a couple of years!

Very deserving winner.Buckley did at the start of last year. Menzel was sometime mid year.Great newsVery deserving winner.
Who was the last Carlton player to win a RS nom? Did Buckley ??
Prior to those two it would have been a long between noms for us.Buckley did at the start of last year. Menzel was sometime mid year.
Do you recall his debut against the Saints in round 5.....Kenny Hands....

)G'day Darce, thanks for stopping byWell done Paddy Cripps! Love the way he goes about it.

It was quite noticeable in the VFL last season that whenever it looked like Paddy was spent physically, he found a way to will himself through to the end of games. Mentally, I think he is one of the stronger players at the club. Heading towards Judd territory. One good thing about that gif is that it was at the end o te game and he was moving better than anyone else.
That'a good sign for a guy with pace issues.
Garlett round 19, 2009 was the last before Buckley. And Yarran in round 1 that year tooPrior to those two it would have been a long between noms for us.
