What am I easing up about? Ken Hunter is currently the best player to pull on the #9. Hickmott, while not a star player, is also one of the better ones to wear that number. Cripps will probably be a better player than both. He may not end up being a triple premiership player (we can hope he does), like Kenny, but he'll be a better player.
Provided we can keep him and he stays on the park, you'd have to say that he's going to easily be a 200+ gamer for us, and that at the very least will give him the games record for that number, and if he improves a bit over the next few years and maintains that level, he will easily be the best player.
Geez, relax a little. This is obviously all speculation, as Cripps is only 10 games young, but is it really that much of a stretch to think he will be better?
Never mind, Cringle. Watto still a chance at Crosswell status.Yeah thylacine60. Stop being so heavily bias towards your favourite player it makes you ignore logic!
FMD! Stop taking things out of context. Sure, highlight the "he will easily be the best player.", but ignore the qualifying statement of "if he improves a bit over the next few years and maintains that level".To be easily a better player than Ken Hunter, Crippa would have to be elevated to the Jezza, Big Nick, Sticks, Kouta, Diesel stratosphere.
Your sweeping statements show a complete lack of awareness of our history and heritage.
Relax????? Some of us have been around a bit longer than you and respect our greats. Crippa is exciting, talented and "made of the right stuff" but
if he ends up better than Kenny the game has another legend.

I don't think this shit is necessary. Show me where I've back pedaled? I don't think me explaining myself, because my comments have been taken out of context, is back pedaling. This is more accurate.

WTF is your problem? You're the one that had a bee in your bonnet about any player possibly being rated above Hunter. My comments are fairly simple to understand.Oh Boo Hoo, can't get a mob to agree with him. You be ok you think?
yeah but it's a funny gifI don't think this shit is necessary. Show me where I've back pedaled? I don't think me explaining myself, because my comments have been taken out of context, is back pedaling.
I'm done
**** offTime out peeps!
Hunter is a legend of the club. We all hope Cripps will finish his career as one too.
/ argument ...?
Ease up.Cool, J. You'll be as good as ODN before you're finished.
He's the hero we deserve. They say people don't believe in hero's anymore. But damn them! You and me, Cripps. We'll bring back their hero's.
Thanks, Jezza.......Cripps is awesome.
You're welcome.Thanks, Jezza.......
Not sure how good he'll be.
I worry about his pace and kicking, but I heard Michael Barlow interviewed on the weekend and he said Cripps is close to the best handballer in the comp already and his stoppage work is great.
Not a bad start after 12 games.

Not to worry, the kid will hire his own fitness, speed and kicking coaches in the off-season and sort himself out![]()
