Yep. We stay half-baked in any of our programs we rot - pretty simple.I will remember his game against the Crows because Juddy's last touch of a footy was by reverse irony, courtesy of Cripps himself.
The matter that has me irate is that Cripps was allowed to retake the field after coming off injured in the last quarter. The ABC radio callers (and the CH 7 callers) all thought hammy, but possibly cramp. Subsequently Cripps came back on and the provisional caller diagnosis was cramp. It turns out he had "bleeding into his thigh".
Now I am not a medico but would be very surprised if going back out to a footy game is orthodox treatment for such an injury.
Now again I am not a medico but I would be very surprised if someone suffering noticeably from bleeding into the thigh is going to recover in the same sort of time frame as we all know people can recover from cramp that might explain his re-entry into the game. It is hard for me, admittedly in the absence of important facts, to consider permitting Cripps to resume playing as medical best practice. If he weren't a budding star I would be appalled. That he is only underlines the lack of care for the long-term health of our players for the presumed short term game of getting players back into the action as quickly as possible.
Although Warnock hasn't played for weeks we now learn his season is over and he needs shoulder surgery. If our medical staff thought more about the health and welfare of the players than they did about quick turn-arounds just maybe our playing list would be healthier than it has been. Kreuzer's long absences raise their own suspicions. The NO MORE QUICK FIX mantra should extend to every level of the Club.

Tried to play out a game with a broken leg last year. Was fuming he couldn't get back on.Crippa wouldnt let a little thing like bleeding into the thigh stop him anyway

Has the club confirmed bleeding into his thigh or just Doc Larkin?

And space cake for dessert? Scones and batter, I mean butter anyone?I also eat cookies for breakfast....

I think Cripps can honestly win a brownlow one day. GunAlmost as good as Broomhead. Not quite there yet though...
Witts might have something to say about that!I think Cripps can honestly win a brownlow one day. Gun
And that was why there was no way that Crippa wasn't going back on the field on Saturday. He spent his time off the ground walking out whatever the injury was & was back at the interchange lines waiting to get back on. I doubt this kid would even give the medicos details of any injury he had.Tried to play out a game with a broken leg last year. Was fuming he couldn't get back on.
Well that's a sweeping statementAlmost as good as Broomhead. Not quite there yet though...
Besides being a gun, you'd think he'd stand out too just because of his height. If our club start winning games, the umps will surely notice Cripps more. The guy is a gun..
Hopefully they start to notice him soon, because he's been on the short end of the stick for some of their calls (no pun intended).Besides being a gun, you'd think he'd stand out too just because of his height.
I scoff anytime I see somewhere like footyinfo.com listing his height as 190cm. I'd be amazed if he's any less than 194cm, probably even 195-196. Standing next to Judd on that Old Man Crawf skit on TFS, he dwarfed even the great man, who is 189cm.
He didn't even look out of place flying for that high ball next to Sauce Jacobs and Kreuzer, which Matty K marked.
Patlick Clipps? Is that you?View attachment 142907
Cripps and barker?

He's definitely a big unit, stood next to him at the driving range. I was that guy next to YaoBesides being a gun, you'd think he'd stand out too just because of his height.
