If the rumours of Luke Williams quitting because of our love for Crippa and taking him so early are true ... well then :D

He was after Rogers job. He would have left eventually.

I'm not sure whether it has been mentioned. But if you watch the game and see Cripps third up ruck work it was also a thing of joy.

Most third up guys jump as high as they can and their basic function is to smash the ball out more than five metres away from the contest.

Watch Cripps.

He actually approached each third up contest as a ruck contest. I swear he got 3 genuine 'taps' to advantage during the Port game. I reckon Cripps had more taps to advantage than Wood did on the day.

I have all these GIF's on my favourites toolbar so I can open them as soon as I get into work in the mornings. One per tab, looping all bloody day.

My boss is a Saints fanatic, so whenever I see her coming I flick over to the "Crippa annihilates Longer" tab. Never fails to brighten my day :D

It was very noticeable. Pretty hard for opposition mids to stop that in the future.

Cripps was BOG this week but is unlikely to be next week.
I just want the club to manage him well and give him time playing forward, also.
This year is gone, so there's little point running Cripps into the ground and some protracted spells forward will also hold him and the club in good stead.
He did very well when resting there last year through the VFL games and is particularly difficult to move off his ground. Has terrific body use and kicks straight.
