For God's sake some of these reactions are embarrassing.

Nothing has been taken away from Cripps because Hogan won the award. They both had excellent years and will have great careers.

Throwing your toys out of the cot because your favourite didn't win is for three year olds...and Cripps would probably be really embarrassed by it.
 
Oh well.. if the panel was different I'd suspect a different result. Even the general public and punters gave Cripps the nod.

Maybe Rice, Weitering, SOS might win next year...

When the hell will we have one rising star...
 
Judged by a pack of former key position players who constantly bitch and moan about how hard they had it. Jesse Hogan is a good player, but cripps getting high clearance numbers against top 4 teams means a heap more than being the ONLY forward for a club.

I'm shocked that Adam Saad only got 3 votes. Did these blokes that voted even watch the footy? Heeney was in the top 5 and missed half the year.

Some of us had a reasonable financial gain riding on it, just saying.... ;)
 
It's only an award but when the winner receives $20000 NAB Portfolio it's nothing to laugh at.....

I was robbed of a win and $16000 prize on a tv show by the producers who wanted the young female to win it... nothing I could do as on the contracts it did say the producers can over-ride the judges decision. Eats at me still to this day that I know I was the winner but never reaped the reward of my hard work.

Just saying, but do you think it's possible Cripps was snubbed because he was nicknamed "The New Diesel" and we all know what happened back in 1993...

This is clearly an AFL agenda against fast-handed inside-midfielders from Carlton.

Think about last year. Lewis Taylor won going up against Bontempelli. Now who would you take out of those 2?
