The lad has potential, especially around stoppages , a good physic to develop just how much we' ll know better in the next 2 to 3 years, let's not get carried away.
He'll settle into his body and the demands of a rigid training program gradually.
Meanwhile amongst mature men we'll only get glimpses as and when he is ready try it out in the gib time.

Cripps wasn't easy to pick-up initially because you're looking for height and the 192cm didn't stand out at all.

Giles is listed at 95kgs also. That makes him about the same height and weight as Henderson.............yet it just doesn't look like it.

Why? that infuriating question.

We can only speculate why, as we are not party to the inner workings of our list management team.
Who cares, we have a young Inside mid who will be developed to replace the likes of Judd, Carazzo etc.
Next Draft period will have a plethora of KPP so we wait and in the meantime we develop the KPP we have.

Same as Jammo, Hendo listed 196, give the young fella a couple of months:p

Admittedly different standard, but I played midfield at 5' 8" and often played on smaller opponents, (yes seniors for the smarties). AFL really becoming "Land of the Giants".

I still have them covered for weight though:confused:

In the space of a month he has moved from one side of the country to the other and trekked through waist-deep snow – but it’s just the beginning of the journey for new Blue Patrick Cripps.
Cripps, who earned All-Australian selection in the Under-18s this year, was recruited to the Blues last month with Carlton’s first round draft pick.
