Yep and the Brownlow for the next 6 years.
And the Norm Smith.

And that's without even playing in the Grand Final. He's that good.

We are all upset if did not win the Brownlow and the rising star, but he will win the 10.

That many of his touches being contested is pretty bloody good for a young kid still developing in his body.

I do believe that while he'll no doubt need a couple years to fully realise his physical potential and get his fitness top notch, he'll be an absolute weapon.

I can see what Kylo Ren above is saying, in that Cripps could be Judd-like. Obviously not the explosive, pacey Chris Judd but the clearance, contested beast Chris Judd. Without checking stats (so I'll probably be horribly wrong), but I don't think we even have another mid besides Judd that typically racks up that much contested ball.

If he stays healthy and continue his form, Cripps is already an important asset in the middle.

Great game on Sat, hope there are many more to come. Hands are very good, great football brain, just has to tidy up his kicking and he will be gold.

Did anyone see the reason why he was doubled over on the AFL member's wing in, I think it was the 2 qtr.
Happened in front of me. Ambrose punched him right in the guts.

Yeah I didn't think it would be anything legal coming from those "brave" boys.

Hence my argument, why is it acceptable to punch a player below the shoulders, do the kids not see those ones? Was it not high impact as Cripps was doubled over longer than Chapstik. AFL hypocrisy at its best.

While it probably should have been looked at, punching someone in the guts does not equal punching someone in the head. Yarran deserves everything he's getting for losing his cool.

Why probably, a punch is a punch. The AFL allows jumper punching or punching below the shoulders and they allow players to take a swing and a miss. This is all ok under AFL rules. What's the difference between punching someone in the guts or in the head, both are an act of violence or anger. Yarren will get what he deserves but the instigator will walk away.

Punching someone in the guts when their not expecting it is more of a dog act than punching someone in the head when their trying to go toe to toe with you

Ask Cripps and Chapman who was feeling better after the game and you'll find your answer.

I agreed that the Essendon player should have also been looked at, i'm just saying they're not equal.

He sure is different to our last number 9 and I would like to think that he could match our greatest number 9 - I reckon he has to be a fair chance of breaking the games record for the number if our administrators locking him away and he is not cursed by injuries like number 8

Just re-watched the game. Cripps is the player that we should be building the next generation midfield around. He is going to be that good for us its unbelievable.

If another side wants him they had better be in a position to pony up 2 first round picks... and one of those has to be in the first 4 picks.
