Why would you tag cripps and let murph go free.

Cripps had 20, 7 clearances and 3 shots on goal. A little down from Hes recent output but still very effective.

Murph had 32 and 13 score involvements.

Murph will kill you if left free, rocket has lost it.

Pretty despicable tag on a 20 year old kid in his second season too.

Not sure what they were thinking with that particular kind of tag. Cripps, while being a kid still, is a strong unit as it is and revels in winning the hard ball.

I'm not sure how trying to wear him like a glove and hold on to him at every opportunity will really work that well... better to try get an accountable ball-winner to go head to head and if you're gonna use a tag, use it on a running player like Murph.

I understand why they were putting attention into Cripps, but geez, not sure about the way of going about it.

It was defiantly the tag of a talentless player, just held his jumper at every contest and cheap jabs behind play.

But why would you tag cripps over murph?

Murph can overpowered and tagged out of a game, if you let him run free he will kill you. If you tag cripps he will still be effective.


Basically what I'm trying to say is "stop wrecking my rising star bet!!!"

Really doesn't need to be stickied.

The week's teams could have just been released (FFS, Thy!), we could have announced a new coach, we've announced an injury, four articles about the blues have been published in the last 10 minutes, ms3 has just listed rumours we are recruiting Fyfe, J Cameron and Treloar and WADA has announced a 2-year ban for *.

AND STILL this thread would be at or close to the top of the pile....

You've got nothing to worry about... Name another first year player that got 20 possessions and six tackles...

Forget his first 3, it took Simmo 8 matches to amass 22 touches, 10 tackles. TOTAL

And that included two games of 8 and 9 touches! :eek:

I believe the best estimate is 194 (or maybe 194.5). He stated in a recent interview he's 193-194.

But he may have shrunk a bit after carrying the team on his shoulders this season...
