Gary Lyon is a ****ing joke - so they should give the Rising Star to Hogan because if he was in a better team he might have better figures because the ball would be coming I50 more often. Nah just nah - you want to downplay Cripps because he wins his own ball in a team lower on the ladder for a guy who 'might' have better stats than he has produced if he was in a better team (but which would still not be as good as Patrick's)

1. Cripps is able to ride tackles so his contested possessions are more frequently to free players. He is using it well, as opposed to the Gibbs/Robinson hack one step kick.

2. Contested footy wins finals. Geelong style turnover footy (circa 212-15) gets showed up in finals. Looking forward to seeing the Tigers coming up short again in September.
