He is such a good contested player and a great leader! Where would we be if he'd taken the Hawthorn offer a few years back?

The way he impacts the contest is exceptional.
You can really tell how he wants to lead the team via his actions on the field which I fully respect.

The one skill he has that many may underate is that he can read when and where opposition players feed out handballs. Because of this he quickly tackles them and forces and stoppage or we win the ball back.

Anyone who doubts Cotch doesn't know football. Has benefitted so much from a changed game plan and improved recruiting/team selection - doesn't have to play the Lone Ranger in the guts. Would walk into any side.

yep it is, tross is like 40th but he is the number key defender so that makes sense, all of these stats stuff will be heavily waited towards mids as they get more of the ball and get more metres gained which is a big part of these ratings

Cotchin is all class. Every side would love him.
Used to work with a guy that trained with lolnorf for a bit, brother played afl etc who knows his footy. I asked him about Cotch when we drafted him and he said "Jet, classy skills, both sides, goes hard, will capt Richmond and win a Brownlow".
