Post music or documentaries, that makes you feel nostalgic, i think it was a unique decade in that a lot of art college bands were being featured in the mainstream in lots of genres, which was pretty awesome.
There was this hope of great things and a bright future in politics and culture.
These days the mainstream climate is completely different, it's too hard to compare because the net brings a lot more bands to the equation.
I think what was cool about back then was that the good music that became popular was pretty good and exciting, it's not so much the case these days in terms of memorable songs, in my opinion...anyway. cross genres are good now and music is awesome, but i don't necessarily feel the same excitement levels about feature music like i did in the past in terms of musicianship and craft.
