What a ballbreaker. I got 75, missed five currently listed players and one just delisted.
Out for sitting here in the last few seconds desperately typing 1998/99 players like Mark Bradly and Luke Ottens in even though I knew they weren't right.

The thread title is actually misleading - hence I only got 39!

I got 72. I didn't read it correctly as I thought it was players who debuted this decade, not players who have played this decade. It was only with a minute to go did I realise I could put players like Neitz and Schwarz etc but I still missed out on Farmer, Febeys, Ingerson because of this.
Noteable players that I missed: Brent Grgic, Nick Smith, Ross Funcke, Steven Pitt, Shannon Motlop. There is probably a reason why I forgot those.

Edit: I'm pleased that I got Michael Clark. Only 29% of people got him. I remember being at his debut game. From memory, he kicked a leg-break of a goal?

Ludicrously Clark and Funcke were two of the first ones I put in.
Was trying to think of players by number but still forgot all about Pitt.
And despite punching in Luke Ottens in the forlorn hope that he'd showed up in 2000, I totally refused to believe Paul Hopgood had played games that year. **** it.

Apart from our best players (Neitz, the Wiz etc) that come to mind straight away, I think it's actually easier to remember absolute duds and flash-in-the-pan types than honest footsoldiers. they just stick in the memory.
And I actually tried to think of players in position (ie ruckmen, KPF, KPB, mids etc) rather than numbers.

I don't think there is much of a method to it.
I agree with the Dr. about the duds being relatively easy, it was the Bells and Wards of the world that I missed. Average, 50-100 game players.

I scored 74. I missed favourites such as Leoncelli, Powell and Vardy.

I'll be very disappointed if anyone here forgot to put in Cameron "future captain" Hunter.
Yeah, the stick insect was one I remembered with relative ease, but I missed the likes of Godfrey.

Mind the way as I escort you out cannons. Jokes aside, I found the players were easier if they had 'moments', for some reason Hunter managing to kick it into Gary Ablett on the mark (with his first kick IIRC) had stuck with me.
59 started getting into a grove once I realised it was accepting everyone who had played since 2000 not just debutants.

well it got better when i found out it accepted last names alone as well. hit a few double headers like Johnson- Chris and Paul. have to say I only remembered Godfrey in the last 20secs. remembered Rigoni easily but was racking my brain to remember Godfrey
