I was looking at the Port list and I was wondering, what do you guys think the trade value would be for these players.

Old guys - Cassisi-0, K. Cornes-0, Rodan-third rounder, Surjan- third rounder

Decent fringe players - Lobbe-0, Phillips-0, Hitchcock-third rounder, Irons-0, O'Shea-0, Salopek-0, Salter-0

development players - Curnow-0, Newton-0, Webb-0, Danny Butcher-0, Blee-0, Ah Chee-third rounder

Hypothetically what would you offer for certain players on behalf of your respective clubs.

Pretty solid: Boak, Hartlett, Brad Ebert

Debatebale: Broadbent, Gray, Moore

Could become one: Young, Wingard, Jacobs, Newton

Im not certain we'll beat Port, and by "not that bad" I mean the attitude of the team, the training intensity and the living conditions. We need to replace McDonald, Power, Brogan and Chad Cornes as on field coaches, so there is a definite plus for any veteran players who are thinking about a coaching career.

I was under the belief that the on field coaches become off field coaches when they retired

So i don't know if you can continue to promise off field coaching roles

At GWS, we do things differently. All our old guys have off-field responsibilities as well -Luke Power is an assistant defensive coach, for example, going to coaches meetings and all that stuff.

Exactly, so you cannot continue to get older plays by giving them assistant coaching roles as current players have already been promised these roles.

Are you trying to tell Sheeds how many staff he has ?

Power goes up to Assistant Defensive Coach. Player X becomes Defensive Player-Coach, who runs the drills at training as he's doing them.

We are in year one of five where that is true. At the end of that time, we will live or die on how well the forty or so young kids we have develop.

Now, what players are on the 'Port might trade' list that are *not* midfielders. GWS has no real use for 3rd round or deeper picks, given we will only take 4 draftees and have 2 17 year olds to trade, who will be worth first round picks.

im at home, and really bored.

im too young or not clued in enough to realize teams have to work themselves out of trouble, not get bought out by other teams.

our club legends at the end of their careers, fringe spuds, and young unproven talent are good enough to warrant a team giving up something that will make us better as a team, while not weakening our team by their loss, well because they are old, spuds, or young kids we are hoping to come on.

i also think justin beiber is a talented artist.

are you not bright enough to see the points i made about his post? there were obvious problems that i highlighted. its months old, did you just learn to read. maybe i had a bit of attitude but i reckon it was deserved and the poster probably didnt cry himself to sleep over it. he made some silly suggestions and i knocked em down. maybe limit yourself to posting on twitter if thats the extent of your ability to add to a forum.
