A BigFooty Baby...

...or rather, a baby for a BigFooty poster!

I am pleased to announce that borogirl gave birth to a boy on Friday afternoon. He weighed 7 and a half pounds and has been named Mitchell. Both mum and bub are doing well.

(some of you may not know who borogirl is - she used to post often but now posts only infrequently, mostly on the Regional League Board - specifically about the DVFL - and on Carlton boards. I know, there's no accounting for taste!!! )

Kristin,

Please pass along regards from me and my wife Jennifer. We don't know Borogirl or her husband-- their involvement here pre-dates ours, certainly-- but we are nonetheless happy.

Hopefully, Jennifer and I will be starting a similar thread in about nine months' time about having a little idiot or two running around here...

Thanks everyone, especially Kristin 5 for announcing the birth of my baby boy Mitchell. As a Blues Supporter, I just don't know how I am going to explain to him, that he was born in Carlton's worst EVER!!! My three year old Luke has already told me that Mitchell is going to barrack for the Bulldogs! At least nobody has given him a wooden spoon, YET!!!!

awww... that'd be bad I was born in a premiership year, so that's all good... congrats on the baby anyway... and he WILL be a carlton supporter.. you jsut gotta bring him up right! hopefully by the time he understands the game we'll be back on our feet again!
