This literally had all the hallmarks of the 2017 port loss. Bad early, work into it, key players awful, bad kicking for goal, laughable turnovers with a minute left, heartbreaking loss.

If this was a pokie machine youd win the jackpot

Your comments are crazy. They nearly stoke a game they were getting creamed in. Takes guts and mental strength to come back like that. I'd be sad but proud. Awesome game. Straight kicking and it's yours.
No mate west coast did steal a game they were getting creamed in. Scoring shots were 26 to 18. 16 to 7 after half time.

We choked. Again. 2 wins 12 losses for games under 20 points in the last 3 years.

**** off and stop interjecting when you don't know what you are talking about.

We need to get Josh Francou back. Heard him being interviewed on the radio before their game and gee he's impressive... while you're at it bring Stewey Dew with you... we need a bit of what Sydney have.

I would invite the PAFC to ask me to renew in full tomorrow at the bottom of the email that announces the wholesale football department sackings that have been performed as a result of this season.

Truly awful end to what has been a pretty disappointing season.

Having to wait another year at least before we play finals again is a thought that is killing me right now.

We are all feeling the pain of our season being over. It will take a bit of time to process I think, but I wish everyone the best in doing so.

Tonight was a really enthralling game, and as supporters we did a great job and I love each and every one of you who made it to the game. My voice will be dead for a week, my heart is broken, but I'm still a Port Adelaide campaigner and I am still proud of the boys who went out there and gave it their all.

RIP season 2017.

Its weird but i dont feel too bothered by this loss.... just a bit numb really. I feel like if we had won we might end up getting embarrassed next week or the week after and end up creating some bizaare new record. This loss saves us that heartache. At least now everyone will say that we were brave etc

I had no excitement in the lead up to this game. None. I don't feel that gutted we lost. Microcosm of the season. We made the finals but we were never a threat to win the flag. I'm interested what happens from here though. Unfortunately my guess is not a lot. **** all changes will be made and we'll be a mid range plodder team for a while yet.

Ken has coached out our ability to get a run on. When we got a goal in front we used pound on about 10 in a row with a unstoppable rampage...now we are so defensive the run on's never happen so the opposition just claw there way back.

Let's face it, we struggled to beat a team that fell into 8th and the clubs going to spin this as a really close unfortunate loss. We took in a team completely undersized and were up against it all night down back and up forward aerially. Our dysfunctional forward line was even more dysfunctional with the attempts to get it around these guys to our key forwards of Sam Gray and Jake Neade. Sam Gray, 2 years and then disappears the next ****ing week.

We are going nowhere under Ken, just losing at home to ****ing West Coast who fell into 8th and losing it at selection is not great. We kick so many points because we kick to the ****ing boundary\pockets.

Tonight is not on Hinkley as much as the players.

I think Ken is an ordinary coach, who shows little strategic insight when he talks about the game, but I like that he backed on youth and IMO they rewarded him.

How he can ever pick Jarman Impey again is beyond me. I guess he needs to take responsibility for the meek on-field leaders he has backed in, and the failure to improve our goal kicking.

Because he's slightly better than Johnson at the moment and Impey is the closest like for like.

The question should be, why do we need that kind of player in the team and can't we squeeze another tall or strong medium body in somewhere...

Devastated after that last quarter. I felt late in the second we were building a win. Yeah nah. Highlight of my night getting a photo with the beautiful Rebecca Morse in the Magary Room.
