Must be the first one in weeks.

Anyway, does anyone know when the practice matches start? And if WC have scheduled any games in Melbourne?

Also, could our resident spies give us an update on training (Frodo? Vicki? MDB?). Who's dominating, who's struggling, which youngsters look ready and which look out of their depth?

The Eagles usually play a scratch match in Melbourne (this year they played at Optus Oval - may have been Judd's first game in an Eagles jumper)

Training will probably continue next week at City Beach Oval - maybe thats where the first BigFooty meet-up should be?

Some Good news and bad news.

Wizard Cup match between WCE and Freo, Feb 21 or 22.
New AFL Rules require that we BUY tickets fo rthe match, even if we are members.
All Pre-Season Practice matches after that are free.

Members get free admission to the WACA members area for the Feb 14 ING cup match.

Training Stats...Fittest - Josh Wooden
Fastest Wooden and Chambers
Most Dominant ...wait for it....Embley
Most Impressive was Kerr, I think.

Training starts today (2nd Jan).

Training finished with a camp at Rottnest which was said to be a lot of fun even though it was stinking hot. The boys were allowed to have a few beers, but only in their camp - not at the pub.

Would you care to confirm that young Master Embley has indeed begun looking like he may fulfil his destiny? :D

Personally I couldnt give a **** how good Embley is going in preseason training. Looking at how he started last year i'd say he was doing well in the preseason back then too. He needs to pull his finger out and show something CONSISTENTLY throughout the whole regular season to show that re-signing him for another 2 years was warranted.

I don't know.

I've got this feeling. Embley has destiny on his side I reckon........

I agree, for some reason, Embley tends to **** me and i was all for keeping Williams in his position and getting rid of him

However, i hope he proves me wrong.... :)
