Thanks Wookie,

You say that AFL Live Pass is free to Telstra customers. Does that also include match replays?

If yes, can you watch those match replays on PC?

sorry if this is not a q&a session.

I'm excited to be watching this upcoming season, which will be my first.

As I'm in the UK, it seems that I have the option of either buying Watch AFL or getting a Global Eagles Membership with the Eagles, which appears to include Watch AFL as part of the membership.

Is there a difference between the two in any way?

Not sure about the Eagles, but it's been pointed out elsewhere that Richmond's international membership is both cheaper than, and includes, Watch AFL...

Thanks Wookie,

You say that AFL Live Pass is free to Telstra customers. Does that also include match replays?

If yes, can you watch those match replays on PC?

sorry if this is not a q&a session.

AFL Live Pass subscription required
• Every AFL match live through the AFL Live App
• Plus full match replays and access to AFL.TV on mobile, tablet and desktop
• If you have just subscribed for the first time, please logout and login again to access premium content

So that's a yes.

But the whole system is screwed up still with AFL live pass varying between PC and mobile. I bought a weekly pass on Friday night through the app to test that my solution to watching it on TV worked (it did, beautifully). I then cancelled it after the game. So i still have a few days of the pass left, but sure enough when i try to watch Replay on PC it says i don't have a live pass. So after reading the FAQ's i need to get the Live Pass through the AFL website to get it on all devices.

Reading the FAQs

AFL Live Pass is acquired directly through https://id.afl.com.au/livepass, and creates an account that you can use to access premium content across all platforms on the AFL Live Official App or AFL.com.au

If you are an existing Telstra customer you may also choose to use your Telstra ID to sign-up to AFL Live Pass, and have the subscription billed to your Telstra account instead of a credit card.

In-App Purchase is acquired directly via the Apple App Store or Google Play on the AFL Live Official App, and is billed to your payment method linked to the Apple ID or Google Wallet account. Whilst an In-App Purchase will not enable cross-platform access of premium content, you can restore the purchase on multiple devices sharing the same account, on the same operating system ie: You only need to purchase once if you have the same Apple ID linked on an iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone

I ended up going with Watch AFL, as they were offering a free trial for 2 weeks.

I’m really impressed with the stream quality, considering its being streamed from halfway across the globe.

On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
When I was in the UK and trying to beat off jetlag, I found BT Sport show a lot of AFL, live too I think

I didn't know that. I'll bear that in mind.
Ah looks like they don't show all games:
BT Sport and BT Sport//ESPN is proud to showcase five games per week continuing right through to the Toyota AFL Grand Final, plus the weekly highlights programme showcasing the best of the action from each round.

Still not bad if you already have BT Sport on a package.

Following last year’s successful launch, the groundbreaking international streaming service Watch AFL returns to deliver live and on-demand coverage of every game in the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season to footy fans living or travelling outside Australia.

Watch AFL will also deliver all the finals action including the showcase event, the 2018 Grand Final, live and on demand.

Subscribers will also have access to Fox Footy’s lineup of award-winning shows keeping them entertained and informed across the week.

Fan favourites including AFL 360, Bounce, Open Mike and the new-look On the Couch will return, plus a host of new shows will deliver the biggest and most exciting lineup ever.

Fox Sports COO Peter Campbell said: “We know how passionate AFL fans are. They live and breathe it. With Watch AFL it doesn’t matter if you are living overseas or travelling for business or holiday – you won’t miss any of the action with live coverage of every game right through to and including the big dance, the 2018 Grand Final.

“Fans loved what they received last year from Fox Sports’ first international streaming service and, with new faces including Garry Lyon, Nick Riewoldt and Bob Murphy, more shows across the week and enhanced product features, this year will be even better.”

Fans can choose to watch the way they want, either from the dedicated website watchafl.com.au or via the Watch AFL mobile and tablet apps for iOS and Android with Airplay or Chromecast enabled.

New features this year include a soon-to-be-released dedicated Apple TV app, and a new iOS and Android app feature allowing fans to download matches and shows to watch offline.

Fans can now trial the Watch AFL service with a free two-week offer available until March 31 2018.

WatchAFL is a lot better than its forerunner (i.e. before Fox took over) albeit a lot more expensive.
Sky have got the NRL back and it is great to have proper Australian coverage as opposed to just the commentary and nothing else.

AFL.com.au and the AFL Live app have launched a new lineup for their Access All Areasprogram and added two new studio shows for the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

AFL Media’s flagship show since 2012, Access All Areas sees Brownlow medallist Jimmy Bartel joining Essendon Coleman medallist Matthew Lloyd and award-winning AFL.com.au columnist Damian Barrett. The program is available to watch on demand from Mondays at 11am.

Port Adelaide champion and Crocmedia regular Kane Cornes joins the AFL.com.au lineup along with host Matt Thompson to bring fans a snapshot of the biggest talking points from the round’s completed matches in a new program called The Round So Far. The program will be available on demand from late Saturday night and all day Sunday.

The other new program is In Case You Missed It hosted by Nat Edwards, which recaps the round for viewers on Sunday night or Monday morning.

AFL.com.au’s signature weekday news bulletin Footy Feed continues and is presented by Nat Edwards and Matt Thompson. Produced by the team at AFL Media with contributions from our reporters across the country, Footy Feed is a truly national AFL news show dedicated to covering the game’s biggest stories and chatting with the game’s biggest names.

Hello guys, I have a question about the AFL live subscription.

I understand the live matches are in phone size even on a desktop. Are the replays full screen size though?

How much is it and does it include all AFL games? would rather give money to your club than the Devil (Rupert Murdoch) when I go to Russia

Your clubs option is cheaper than the Tigs by 10 bucks a year, and they all include all games, as well as most foxfooty content. Freo is the cheapest.
