Do you see the Bulldogs bidding on Connor Ballenden HF?

I also see Gryan Miers as a reach at pick 18, would much rather go for one of the mids/potential mids that were still on your board eg. Aiden Bonar, Matthew Ling, Lachlan Fogarty, James Worpel or even mature ager Tim Kelly. Chris Fagan and David Noble have made it very clear that we are after mids so I can't see us selecting Callum Coleman-Jones or Oscar Clavarino.

I've got the fingers crossed that Connor Ballenden is not bid on before 18 and that we use our 2 picks in the 40s to match the bid on him which appears to be the plan, if that is the case going by who you have available at our picks I would be hoping for.

1- Luke Davies-Uniacke but would be happy with Cameron Rayner or Paddy Dow as well.
15- Charlie Constable.
18- Aiden Bonar and I would be fine with reaching for James Worpel or Tim Kelly.
+ Connor Ballenden and maybe Jack Payne.

If we have a pick still left I would love us to take one of Liam Ryan, Adam Sambono or Sam Switkowski.

I’m not great on all that bidding rubbish but isn’t 15 your pick anyhow? Given you just gifted Schache to them, that would simply be the height of rudeness IMO!

Miers is a freak small forward and I know that the Lions are keen for that type of player. They might pinch him later, but I’d thought I’d throw a couple of curve balls in to make it interesting.

Yep 15 is our pick but there is no way we would take Ballenden there unless he was bid on, fair enough if you're not going into the bidding process permutations.

You don't see Adelaide taking F/S Jackson Edwards in the main draft??

My thinking is we'll take him @ 77??

Entirely possible - as you may have gathered by the time I got to the 5th round, it got rather loose.

I’d definitely draft him before Your Mum at #89.

Hedge what is it that you like about Brayshaw to push him over the usually named 'top-5 mids'?

Sorry if that's a too serious a question for this thread. Lock Stephen O'Reilly and Heath Black in for our top picks.

Won the Haileybury B&F in 2016 as a year 11, in a side with Scrimshaw, Battle, LDU, etc. Was their Captain of both Sport and their 1st XVIII in an undefeated 2017 season.

Missed 6 weeks in the middle of the year with a quad but still recovered to play midfield in two Metro games and didn’t miss a beat, despite being underdone. Second half of the year with Dragons was probably the best player in the TAC competition. Named captain of one of the All-Star sides.

If he hasn’t missed 6 weeks in the middle of the year (including the lead-up to and first three weeks of the U18 Champs), no-one would be questioning this.

As for him as a player, well he chases and tackles more than any of the others (defensive mindset is excellent), is as hard at the contest as any of them. Kicks goals and sets goals up with exceptional ball use. Is the best of the lot for elite endurance (both 2k and Yo-Yo).

If you read the highly respected Knightmare’s rundown, the only knock on he has on Andy is he has “no identifiable second position”. Basically, he has no weaknesses. So as a coach, you don’t have to address anything to get him up to AFL level.

Cerra, Higgins , Garner and Penrith would be absolutely smashing it for the Baggers.
What and amazing haul our midfield would be settle for the next decade.

That’s clearly what you need and they’re all achievable at those picks IMO.

You also have Ethan Penrith going to WCE, or are there two of them?

Thank you, adjusted to replace Daniels with Moore and slide Daniels down to replace Penrith to WCE.

Still probably about as accurate as Levi Casboult kicking in a gale at Blundstone Arena

Always enjoy your posts on other threads so was looking forward to this. Terrific effort hedge, very impressive. Some real food for thought.

One thing stands out - you have not coloured your draft with your support for the Hawks. Often I see strong draftees being dropped down the order to land at the club the drafter supports.
